Weather : Raining. Sad-Sad Condition.
Time: Early Morning.
I edited all the pictures, there is no such thing as blue sky on this day. It rains from the moment i step out from the hotel until the night after i have my dinner. IT IS STILL raining.
I been searching around for the attraction place nearby Nimes around the net. That will reveal several places like Montpellier, Pont Du Gard, Amphitheater, and so on. Fortunate and unfortunately i will have to be the tour guide -.-" I get to decide where i wanna go. heheh. But its very stressfull when you run out of idea and places to go.. WTF.. They will be waiting for me to give direction. I have nothing in mind. So we somehow ended up back in the hotel for a break. The place is new for me. I dont know how to explore any further besides the destination suggested by the GPRS. haha.
I remember i saw the exact same thing along the railway in Australia. This bring back my memory. Similar and Familiar. :D How sweet. This picture is taken along the highway from Nimes to Montpellier. Oh yes, this is where the GPRS show its power. It can detect the speed limit and warn you ahead. It will show precisely where is the location of the speed limit and it is ACCURATE. The jouney along the highway will takes about 30 minutes.
The toll house is rather old but they have special lane that accept only credit card. The machine manage to gather the information as fast as *Touch n Go* system. All we have to do is to insert the credit card into the slot and the next second the beam is up and we will be able to move on. Again, its not a very good idea to ask for direction here if you can't understand French. We have to depend very much on the meter for the price of the toll. Living in a country with communication barrier is such a big challenge. You goota live on your own. And most often hand language does not help in explaining some situation.
Everyone been telling me that French people is not friendly in the sense of communication. But i am surprise and actually to try out, somehow i just got lost easily and therefore i have no choice but to ask for direction. They tried their best to guide me. I personally think that, the reason they ignore or do not want to entertain could be because that they do not understand what you are talking about. Its obviously not as friendly as the one in Brisbane but they do help!
(At brisbane when you look lost or panic, there will be someone approach you and try to give direction. I have no idea its only me or its just their culture. But in Europe dont expect this to happen. If you are lost and you do not ask for direction, Well, good luck!)
Montpellier
Montpellier is a very beautiful town. The building is awesome. But the weather is -.-" Unfortunately, we got lost even though with the GPRS guidance. We end up going around and around the town. And finally we manage to sneak into the shopping arena. That should be the core of the town. (Always happen when we came across a new place).
The Wall
I have no idea what does this called but its almost similiar to the one they have in Paris. (Arc de Triomphe). Its just a tiny pathway for 2 lanes of cars to get into the town. I am not sure weather the cars is allowed to go in or not but we went in still. Then realised they have shops like HUGO BOSS and other grand shops which i couldn't remember the name.
We followed the car in front of us that lead us to the front of the shops. I can't believe we just stop out car right infront of the boutique. When we get down from the car we realised that we are trapped in that area. I saw a police passing by the road and there is a BEAM coming up from the floor. That basically block the road for any car access. We was afraid that what if the beam comes up when the car is in the middle. It will be lifted and GOSH. It will be displayed in the middle of the road. Like exhibition! The best is that the beam is controlled by the driver. (Immediately after the police car pass the beam, it rises and block the way) HUH....
Thank god we survive, we follow closely to the car in front of us and pray that the beam doesn't come up.

Profecture
The car that we rent was the black one in front of the boutique called Armand Thiery (AT).I have no idea what is the purpose of this building. As you can see the people is holding umbrella. All i have with me is the hoodies which doesn't seems to work very well at 3 degree celcius. Its SO COLD... gosh :S Its wet and its sick sick weather. Therefore, we spend most of our time indoor trying to look for a shop that we can actually grab something cheap. Oh yes, they are having sales and everything is cheap if no conversion is being done.
SOLDES means SALES
We just left our cars there and went around the town with feet for about 2 hours. So tempted to buy the clothing but i have to keep remind myself that my card ain't working. I do not have extra credit to waste. Every cent is very important. Especially its still the begining of the trip. I end up with only 10 EURO in my wallet when i arrive in Singapore. How hopeless. That also we skip the payment from Paris Gare Du Nord to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport which will cost me another 8.40 EURO. Pathetic experience. But i enjoy alot despite limited cash to satisfy shopping desire. When multiply everything by 5, i bet you will change your mind. Just before that, remember to divide your salary by 5 times as well.
:(
Enjoy the Picture below (Downtown Montpellier)
Indeed a nice place to hang around.
Here is where i got my lunch. The shop behind the blue colour chicken. That is a cheapest food i can find!!! 3.50 EURO for the sandwich.
All the sculpture's head is missing.
