Ikan Bakar Kuantan

|
I enjoy alot everytime i have travel for work. No matter how tiring the trip is. Unfortunately, places that i will end up with is either Kuantan or Singapore. Sheesh.... -.-"

The people is just great. Very nice to communicate with and they recommend us alot of nice places to go. Ikan Bakar Ana was their first preference for dinner.

Well, we have hard time searching for the place. They give detail explaination of the location but this is my first time, no matter how good you are at describing the places. I wouldn't remember or know how to go. -.-" End up heading very much further towards the jungle. When it doesn't seems alright we made a U-Turn. Tanjung Lumpur was the directed we are heading. We pass by alot ikan bakar shop as well but then cannot find Ana (The green colour shop).

After 20 minutes searching around for that place we manage to find it just beside the seaside. The smell reminds me of the times i have 15 years ago at Lumut. Similar kind of smell. Nostalgic. The lifestyle at Kuantan is rather relaxing and less stressfull definitely. Of course nobody will like stressfull environment. You will die faster OK! :D But to me, this is not the place that i wanted to stay for the rest of my life. (??)

Pure Mango Juice Puree

This mango juice is better than any available commercial mango juice that could be found in Major supermarket. Much better. It comes with the pulp and the taste of mango is simply irresistable.

This restaurant have the concept of choosing the raw seafood at certain price including the fee to cook. (Siap Masak). For example, 100 grams of sotong will be around Rm 3.50, 100 Grams of stingray (Ikan Pari) will be around Rm 4.00 and Fried lala will be about Rm 3.00.

Only two of us Me and Donny. Ordered the amount of food for 4 person. Therefore, we have to eat double double :( Its a challenge.

Sotong Goreng Tepung. Fried Squid.

Dip in chili sauce. OMG this sotong taste so good! But then i have tried once fresh squid that we just have to steam the squid and the sweetness is there. There is No need for other seasoning and taste enhancer. Fantastic.

Crave for LaLa.

I always wanted to eat Fried Lala. Hawker stall favourite food selection. Somethings that will spice up the taste bud and yet not filling. In other word, waste of money! Eat something that doesn't help at all.

Bamboo Lala.

Oh dear, i am so hungry now!

Ikan Bakar

Well, this ikan bakar doenst seems to speak on its own. But its really good. The sambal is unique.

Ordinary Fried Kangkung.

I once heard that people with Arthritis (In cantonese we call it Fong Sap, In Hokkien we call it Hong Sip) (Correct me if i am wrong) is not suppose to eat vegetable with hollow. In the middle of kangkung is always empty and this is what i mean with hollow :S

I wonder how does the tortoise survive for hundred of years then? Not justified! hmm.......

5 Dish, 3 Sauce, 1 Big bowl of Rice.

This joker ordered the rice for 3 person. Thanks ya. That bowl of rice is enough for even 4 person. With the amount of dish, it is sufficient to last us until next day. So much.

Damage done on the food.

Somehow we manage to finish up everything. EXCEPT the rice of course.

After dinner......

Noung Noung Fun Park

Each token is Rm 2 and each game requires 2 Token or sometimes 3 Token. What did we win from the games?

1) Two small glass cups with mickey picture
2) 1 Tiny Pillow
3) Dead Cat
4) Ring in the water (We are suppose to hit the button to get the ring spinning around the water and hope it falls into the pillar) This is common 12 years back.

How much did i spent? Rm 15.

The environment is great. But lack of people -.-"

I remember back in my hometown where they organise similar kind of fun fair. I won a bicycle by just throwing the ring into the glass bottle. Just the same concept like the Ring in the water.
Was so excited and the staff was like showing off the bicycle that they will have to give out around the crowd. hahaha So fun...

Just one throw and hit the jackpot :D

But now the prizes abit tipu tipu le. Quality of the prize is hopeless. Dont fall into their trap of probability.
