This small restaurant is located somewhere around Klang Valley. Two floor, not that spacious, alil bit Overprice but the presentation and food quality is acceptable :D Oh well, its worth it after all.
Chawan Mushi is a popular Japanese egg custard dish. In fact special China cups are made for preparing and serving the custard. The cups come with lids that are used to keep the custard warm for a while after it is served. The custard consists of an egg mixture flavoured with soya sauce, dashi, and mirin, with numerous ingredient such as shiitake mushroom, kamaboko, and boiled shrimp (Wikipedia).
As complicated as it may sound, it is actually Jap version of steamed egg. With all sort kind of ingredient that we doesn't seems to understand. -.-""
In other words, Udon fried with Black Pepper. Strong taste of black pepper. Yummy!!!
This is grilled Golden-needle- mushroom (Jin-Gen-Goo). Enoki actually mean Jin Gen Goo. hehe. Compact Wrapped with a layer of dried tofu layer. I found out that we must eat this mushroom for the rest of my life!!!
Quote:
Professor Phan Hwai Chong of Yang Ming Research Centre in Taiwan told reporter that consuming this kind of mushroom, one of the ingredients in the mushroom can trigger the multiplication of our healthy ‘defensive’ cells. By out-numbering the cancers cells, healthy cells help eradicate cancer cells.
American scientists have since run tests on this particular type of mushroom extract with blood, done outside human body. Results show that mushroom extract is able to destroy cancer cells. According to Taiwan professor, since healthy ‘fighting’ cells can be multiplied to tens & thousands of times, it can either be used as drip or just by eating mushroom.
The mushroom is most frequently taken with steam boat. Cooking time should be less than 3 minutes, or the healing property would greatly diminish.

I believe this could be for prevention rather than treatment :D
When someone is having cancer (whichever part in the body) at certain stage. I Doubt this will work as it claims to be at this point of time.

So next time when you are wondering what kind of vegetable to look for, why not think about Enoki Mushroom @k@ Golden Needle Mushroom.
Soft Shell Crab. My Favorite. Each and every visit to Japanese restaurant will not be complete without umm... any dish that contain Soft Shell Crab. Must eat!!
Avocado + Rice + Kappa + Soft Shell Crab = Thumbs up!
Myself would think this is the most convenient crab to eat. I just dont like the mess of having the need to crack the shell with hammer and playar. This is not cool.
Most Major Comercialise Jap restaurant will serve whole Soft Shell Crab (Fried). Different price, Different portion, Different Size.
Not to miss Baby Octopus sushi. It has to come with the sauce. Plain baby octopus is tasteless. I tried it once and urgh... disgusting. I wonder how people can eat the octopus which is alive. Practically moving inside your mouth. Geezz inhumane.
Well, if i have a change i should give it a try. This is very common in the documentary of japanese cuisine. I saw couple of times from television programme.
I just love the sweetness of the tofu. Again, the content is Soft Shell ^^ Fried and Crunchy. Wow.
I am so hungry now. Starving. Ciaoz.
Bon Apetit
