My or Sg

Why the hell on earth i choose to work in Sg? First thing come to my mind; i would rather get paid double for the shit that i do. From my point of view, regardless of the places you work in, you will still have to face the stress and boring routine (ok it could be challenging in a way).

Did you see this during the F1 Race organized in Sg?

All these while i heard alot of the benefits working in Singapore. Yes, especially when it comes to shopping. Everything is 50% lower compared to what they have in Malaysia. Same thing applies to UK. The Clothes is 5 times cheaper compared to Malaysia. How come i dont have the idea of working in UK? Same thing goes to grocery shopping and Eating out. In short, with the same amount of income, you will be able to get more in Singapore. This is the beauty of it. Actually there are more reasons, let me list out in numbering form;

1)Cheap Food - a Bowl of Noodle in Singapore cost 2.50 SGD whereby in Malaysia cost Rm 4.50

2)Great Shopping experience - Oh hell Yeah, Everyone is Holding a Gucci, LV or Burbery HandBags. Its so cheap ya?

3)Convenient Public Transport - Heard of a phrase sounds like this *MRT brings you to each and every corner and dont need to be afraid there isn't any public transport. Where ever there is a road, SURE there will be a bus pass by. (True Enough)

4)Very Peaceful - It is very traumatizing when it comes to crime rate in Malaysia. For the duration of 6 months i heard of at least 5 cases of robbery. Nearby Office, Neighbourhood, Friends, Relatives. (Pepper spray does not work at this point of time. They comes with sword -parang-!)

So Much for that, What i really concern is the other side of it. This place given me so much negative impression about the country itself. (Heard and saw)

Chinatown

What about the ugly sites?

Undeniable that the food was indeed cheap in Sg. But back at hometown country, the whole complete menu from Chinese Restaurant, Seafood, Malay Store, Mamak, Japanese, Italian, can be found here. (More familiar with the area here, thats why i would think that it is easier to find it here). In the case of variety, there is no question that you wont be able to find it in Sg. Just ignore the Cost of it, everything will be alright.

When it comes to branded stuff, yes definitely from figure wise, For the same item, same shop, you will find Lower Figure at Sg as compared to Msia. But then, the question is how often you will get branded stuff? My fren once told me; So much of branded stuff that you have got, AT the end of the day, He or She will be going back to the HDB still. This of course not referring to me!
I even heard stories like, a person would actually skip lunch and breakfast (giving reason - on diet) just to get a branded handbag. So desperate. Come to think of it, what is the point? What will you get from all this luxury? Status in society? or people will highly rank you according to your valuable?

-I personally think that, so much of stuff u got, but there is not much money in your pocket. What is the point?

-Yes i understand that people pay more attention to the surface, to what they can see with their eyes, and this is the reason, cosmetic products are growing like mushroom after the rain :D Tons of them! But again, is this necessary? Natural is the beauty side of it K.

When it comes to public transport! Oh Gosh, You will never know the amount of people take MRT as their main mode of transport. Yes that include me as a visitor or even as a foreign worker. The chances of you getting a sit in MRT is very slim. Unless, you start from the end of the train station. End of the day, you will still need to stand on your way back :D (Karma)
Of course MRT itself will not stop right infront of your office. Therefore, other public transport is required, BUS. Then it comes another round of squeezing and pushing in the bus. (I am talking about working hour)

Same thing goes to the bus, it will only stop at the bus station and not in front of your office. Some office is about 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station.
In Conclusion, you will need to Take MRT, BUS and WALK everyday. To become a routine, this is very tiring. (VERY VERY tiring) no joke.

Technically speaking, it is much safer to walk on the street in Sg compared to Msia. No question about this. Raise both hand to agree with this statement.

Home Sweet Home. No place will be better than home. I remember there is a quote saying that;
*I enjoy going for holiday, because i want to get the feeling of coming home*

There are pros and cons depending on individual needs and expectation. The way you look at things, the way you live up with it is what makes up your day.

I was told by one of my friend currently working in Singapore, she said "Now i realised money is very hard to earn?" How much do you agree with such statement?

No matter what you are working as (it could be from a cashier to Accountants, from junior executive to managerial level), life can never be an easy way out. There is always people to give u pressure and stress. There will be always a responsibility that you are holding which builds up the emotional stress. Either you cope with it, accept the fact that you will have to do it. Or choose other alternative. When choices is not an option, such person could end up in a hospital. i have the tendency towards this way.



Speaking about hospital, lets have a summarize of what i have to face for the past week.

I am glad that i have an opportunity to explore the local hospital and have a look at the operation routine of each and every department. Also, meeting up with Doctors and Professors is also part of my job. With this, it could be very traumatizing when it comes to visiting places like ICU. Gosh, people running away from X-ray machine and looking at the patients lying on the bed is just so Sickening. What do i have to complain about? There is nothing i could do about it! Yet to mention that being an alien to the hospital, the only way to be familiarize is to walk around and explore. BUT unfortunately, day 1 and day 2 consecutively, i came across this place call Bilik Mayat. Mortuary. Holy FUK! I personally have very bad experience with this kind of place.Green Colour have soothing effect for your eyes. Trees. Not Ghost of Course!

After confronting the manager and explain what i have been facing lately. Two questions comes to my mind; Should i continue with what i am doing right now? or Should i proceed with Studies in different field of interest? (at the end will be back to Job hunting again! Is the time and money investment a good step to take?

A call from the big boss save the world and answer my doubt and queries. The conversation over the phones sounds like this:

R: Hi, how are you?
Me: OH Fine. Its great :S

R: I am sure you have heard of me~ Yeah i have heard about you as well. How should i address you? Mr Lim?
Me: Yeah just call me Lim. or Mr.Lim. (Cuz xinwen is not glamour enough! and i still insist of NOT having a english name; there is no other name for me besides Lim Xin Wen Ok)

R: Alright Lim, I hope you feel comfortable with the places where you are right now. Dont need to feel overwhelmed over some issue. Just do readings for ur basic understanding of the product that we have.
Me: Okay

R: Dont have to worry about the offer letter as i will pass it to you when i come over next week. Or when you come over to Singapore next week.
Me: Alright.

R: Yea its just a normal offer letter. ( There is still alot of issue which is not clear about the terms and condition! i was told that a trip to singapore involve Bonds! WTF. I assume she is nice enough to discuss over matters in the Letter of Offer when I found any contradiction )

Again, I was told that *ass*u*me* means *Made an ass out of you and me*

Me: Ok, its alright.
R: I'll be arranging transport and accomodation for the upcoming Regional training that will be conducted here in Singapore. You will be staying with another colleague in Riverview Hotel. Meals will be provided and paid by us. During the lunch time, I'll bring you around to see where our machine was placed and how it goes about.
(i remember each and every words she told me)

Me: That will be great and i will be looking forward to meet up with you. Thanks alot.

(My dad once told me there is nothing free in this world)

R: Alright see you.
Me: Bye.

I feel relieved, at least someone understand my condition and situation.
At one point of time i was asked to meet up with Doctors explaining about journal and observed how to promote the test. The next moment, i was asked to read materials in the office. Thats it. How amazing :D


This is just the begining!!

Honestly speaking, i do not like the idea of biotechnology at all. Yet, why do i work in pathlogy lab and all job search focus much on the area of sciences and healthcare. First of all, Why THE HELL ON EARTH i choose to STUDY BIOTECHNOLOGY? This is a question whereby, myself wont be able to answer.

3 options available
1) Further till master to become Lecturer
2) get higher qualification to do research ( Knowing that i am not the Top List Student - This task seems to be almost impossible to achieve )
3) Work as a Sales Representative, Product Specialist, Laboratory. There is no good and bad in all this job scope because in the end you will still earn big money. Just the determination and the performance. Knowing that One question that i am concern is I dont like any of these. I dont like the things i am doing. I dont enjoy what i am doing right now. I can't find passion from the job. Then i must well go Die.

This is the reason i opt for an alternative choosing another pathway and thought of risking another 4 years doing something else. In reality, this does not happen. So need not discuss further.

Buffet Time

When i was asked to go for Karaoke session. First thing came to my mind is BUFFET.
Yes i pay for the food! It cost a bomb.

If you get what i mean, yes the starter will be something looks like this....

1st Time


It is human nature to be greedy. hehe. Not knowing whether the food is edible or not. Of course if you were to call it a food it is meant to put into your mouth. Question is whether it is nice or not!! So, we happen to take from first to the last dish available there. Start From salad, then proceed to sushi counter, Soup, Fried Rice, Chicken, Vege, Desert, ice Cream. At the end of it, what we did with the left over food is we stack them up all together and place it below the table that SO happen to have 2 layer. Hahahaha.... (this is bad) -.-""""""""""""

When it comes to quality of food and Karaoke. Most people will just pay for the service and wouldn't bother about the food, but they charge such big amount of money i suppose they should present decent food :D

Scallop, Mini Lobster, Steam Fish I would say sometimes the food is still acceptable. At least better than what they have in Singapore!! (Party World?) At least i have better experience here compared to what they have to offer over there :D


With different group of people, the song selection will be different. For me, i listen to chinese song, but i can't read them. WTF. Very big disadvantage when it comes to the karaoke room. Its not that you wont get the chance to sing. Its matter of you Can or Can't sing that particular song.

You know sometimes it happen, *Oh this song is familiar, When you actually have to come out with the lyric. It is just a big challenge* Huh.. With this, one question will come to you. Why don't you sing english song instead. Ya i am just weird.

English educated sing Chinese song. Chinese Educated Listen to English song... :S

I never thought that i will be celebrating my birthday in Neway. Just happen that i went out with my x-colleague. They gave me a big surprise. Sincerely thanks for that :D


Different timing, Different price rate, Different food, Different service. Haha, with just 5 of us we have got the biggest room they have at Subang Branch. Just co-incident ok. We didnt ask for it nor request for that. They brought us to the room number, and we was like, WOW. This is huge.

Gallery Galore

Lets have a look at things i have got from Bandung. (Mostly Clothing)

Mentioned earlier its a shopping trip. So it will not be complete until i show what are the *fruits* that i have got from Bandung. heheh o.O

This pretty much looks like an advertorial but what i focus is the detail in a piece of garment produced.

I was asked, How do you actually determine the genuine-nity of that brand on the product. In other words, How do you know this is a real or fake Jeans?

Let me show u a series of Photos and you tell me weather its real or Fake? Ok
ITEM #1

Labelling is one of the most Important criteria in selling the brand name. This is the reason why they pay so much for the advertorial.
Everywhere you go, every magazine you flip and you came across such brand, then you will call it BRANDED? I suppose this should be the definition. Otherwise, how you actually classify a name as branded? Its because the tremendous amount they have paid for adverticement. And not forget about the rental at those High-Class place? Pavilion, High-Street One Utama, The Garden, KLCC. Everywhere -.-"


I took couple of close up pic with this particular jean because i think the detail artwork is something that you wont be able to see in any other pants. That's why you call it Limited Edition! But i still have doubt with the HAND-MADE statement.

For real, i don't know what is the exact price of this garment in the market. If you happen to encounter any then please do Let me know. K



If i am not mistaken the *G* logo was used to be in Red Colour. I suppose its more striking than this blue colour. Thats what Levis been doing all this while isn't it? (The Red Label)

I personally dont really like Levis because of the limitation to the design. Yes they do provide extensive range of sizes and cutting. But when it comes to design and Fashionable? I would still consider that as norm.


The rear Pocket is pre-washed with *worn-before* effect. The earthquake effect is just awesome. Love it so much. The colour is just unique and one of its kind.

For Business Purpose, i believe this is the only one piece available in the world.


Close-up of the Pocket which is sew with glitter thread that gives shinning effect. It actually looks much better in real. And the torn effect is just authentic.

On the other side, the front pocket is also pre-washed with the thunder effect. Hahahah. And also it comes with Crumple effect slightly below the pocket. The button label is rather simple.

Yes, i understand that no matter how nice a pants can be, it is still Much depends on the person who wear it. u get what i mean? HEhehehh

From what i observed, the price for the jeans in Any Authorised Guess outlet in Malaysia range from RM 399 to RM 599. Increase ALOT over the years. Last time you will still be able to see the 2XX number but now -.-"

And i surveyed in the Guess Outlet at Bandung Supermall. It actually cost 1.1 Mil RP to 1.5 Mil Rp. ( Exchange rate 10k = RM 3.60 ) You do the calculation!!

Another Guess Product, but this is a short pants. Noticed in the picture above, the button labelling is very much different from the previous one. I Prefer this one more :D This one more stylo ler.. ( As if anyone will notice that -.-" )

This fabric has the mixture of Red thread and Usual Blue Jeans colour thread. But the Special thing about this is that, the red colour is rather hidden inside. It only serve as a Imaginary colour of what you will see.

Yes got red colour, but still you would much consider this pants is blue in colour. Weird.
If you have came across a paint that have two different colour at Different angle? Or in the occation when the cars was park sheltered and under the bright sun, will results in two different colour. Sounds very much like camouflage. :S YES this is what they trying to apply here in this garment.

This is pretty much what you will see from a distance away. This is obviously Not limited edition and not hand Made. Therefore, the design is much of the commercialize ones.

The unique part of it is the fact i like the fabric comes with red colour shadow. This is the rear view of the pants. If i am not mistaken, guess pants always emphazise on the design of back pocket. Changes from one season to another.

Back to the question how do you actually tell that this is real? Not all but often enough you will be able to find some labelling inside the pants. At the pocket, this is what you will find. (Picture above)

Another thing is the fact that, guess company always use the Zip from YKK company. Well, alot of Cheapo pants uses YKK as well. Why would i say a guess pants with YKK zip is consider the real or genuine ones. From years of observation, i would say guess have always been using zip from YKK.

If you wonder why is it YKK? What does it mean? Any why its so common?

Here some fact i could share with you.....

1. YKK is from Yoshida Manufacturing Company Owned by Yoshida Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha

2. YKK produce over 1.5 Billion Zipper a year. More than the population in China!!

3.Its national Manufacturing Center is in Macon, Georgia.

This is the Logo T that i personally like it very much. The material is very soft and stretchable type. And due to this reason. EVEN THOU it is LARGE size, it still looks very small. Able to expand 1.5 times of its orginal size or more. I actually dont need such big size.

I like the material and the design is nice. I just can't resist to buy, knowing that I dont have a perfect body tone to wear such garment.

So what does this hologram tell you about?

The matter of fact, this piece of clothing is sold at the price stated above. i have no idea why in the end it land at Indonesia. Maybe the manufacturing company at Indonesia trying very hard to convince people that this is genuine. There is no doubt on the quality of this shirt ok.

You could even find Armani there. WOW and the quality is no different from what you find in any of the outlet. I been to these places end up looking at the price but never actually but a single item. Because of OVER-Price! They marked up 10 times above the market price. How the hell on earth a person buy a t-shirt which will tear after 10 washes.

I have to say that the quality of the shirt from AX is just not durable. Its nice with all those design available. But the matter of concern is also the Worth for Money.

You wouldn't have to worry about this problem when it comes to Bandung. Or perhaps any other Indon Shopping heaven area.

IT looks as REAL as What you will see in Store! Perhaps this could be the real one. :D
Label here and there. Thats why you call it Logo T. Only difference is For Armani it cost Rm 150 Whereby for Giordano It cost Rm 19 :D Its still a Shirt.
I dont know what but Amani just sounds good to me. What does it actually mean?
According to Wikipedia Amani is an Arabic name meaning "wishes" or "aspirations". Not bad :D

DID i mention fruits from Bandung?

I have no idea how to relate Bandung with Avocado... But i can tell that THE AVOCADO SOLD there is emerald Green. As hard as rock. Its not ripe. When its time to consume the skin layer will turn somehow purplish. Something like Dark rotten purple colour. Heheh..

BUT FOR Avocado from bandung is exceptional. The skin turn purple slowly starting from the top then gradually gets to the bottom and eventually the whole thing changes into purple.

So time to Cut it into half and eat it with Brown sugar/ Sugar.

Supposingly, avocado should have taste like coconut (creammy) with the taste of *lemak* but this one is TASTELESS.. Omg.

I Think i have to make avocado salad with the remaining 3 that i brought back here.

Also just too late to take the picture of the pumpkin that was slaghtered yesterday. Its Orange in colour.. Very nice and Very fake.. I was told that usually orange pumpkin is used for Prayer.

I like the colour inside. :D
